About Us

Who are we?

Well, strictly speaking, “we” are Colin Reese, along with a rotating crew of associates who inspire, create and critique — and do some contract work.

Who am I?

I am a technology renaissance man and connoisseur. I grew up on linux, MATLAB, LabVIEW, shell, C. I studied Chemical Engineering, did simulation research abroad, and spent graduate school learning about electronics, data acquisition and instrumentation, and generally how to build stuff and make it work. I’ve since spent time at a solar cell company, an LED materials startup, and now design electrical control systems and HMIs for yachts by day. By night, I homebrew and build electronics and the software to run them. I’ve migrated to Python, picked up javascript and jquery, fallen in love with the Raspberry Pi, and have recently decided to jam it all together into something wonderful. I am constantly finding new stuff to learn, and refuse to stop finding neat technologies to learn about. For me, it’s what makes it all fun.

  1. Hi Colin,

I’m trying to use your sketches for Moetino.
I’m able to compile properly unimote_gateway_1p1.ino
However, uni_mote_2p7.ino and uni_mote_2p75.ino are both failing.
The first problem seems to be “#include “, which is missing.
The second one, if I comment out “#include “, is that a lot of ” ‘xxx’ was not declared in this scope” errors.
This leads me to think that this “Flash.h” is containing a lot of definitions.
    Where can I find it?

    Regards, Jacques-D. Piguet
